Last week I attended the opening reception for Skylands Gallery & Studio's latest non-member Open Show "A Thing of Beauty". I was sort of a late addition to the show, so the week prior was a bit busier than usual for me, but I am very happy to say that three of my paintings are hanging among a great assortment of artwork by some very talented artists. Besides the non-member show, there is also a diverse assortment of artwork hanging in the main gallery by member artists.

The reception itself was a lot of fun. There was a good turn out, despite all the rain that day. There was a guitarist playing some lovely music, a tasty spread, stimulating conversation with other local artists, and (of course) beautiful artwork to be viewed all around.

The gallery is located in Wantage, NJ, if anyone finds themselves up that way. For anyone interested, all artwork in the show is for sale. The show is up through September 4th.
